Desview S24-HDR

The Desview S24-HDR is a 24-inch broadcast monitor with 4K UHD 3840 × 2160 resolution, 400 cd/m² brightness and HDR support. It accepts four HDMI and two 3G-SDI sources, shows up to four pictures at once and offers built-in LUTs, false color, markers and gamma selection. This version comes in an aluminium case with a sun hood. It runs on mains power, via an XLR adapter or from a V-mount battery.

The largest monitor in the S series: 24 inches in 4K for control rooms, OB vans and post-production, where you need to see several cameras at once and still judge the detail.

Four sources on 24 inches

In 4P mode the monitor shows four sources at once; it also offers one picture full screen, two side by side or stacked and picture-in-picture. In 2P the pictures can be swapped and the picture border tinted in a chosen color.

Aluminium case for transport

The case version protects the monitor on the way between studio and location. The case has metal corners, handles and the Desview logo on the lid; on site you simply open it and the monitor is ready.

Four HDMI, two 3G-SDI

HDMI inputs 1–4, an HDMI output, a USB port and BNC connectors for two 3G-SDI inputs and one output sit together on the back next to the handle. On HDMI 1 and 2 the monitor accepts 4K up to 3840 × 2160 and 4096 × 2160.

4K UHD resolution, HDR and built-in LUTs

The 3840 × 2160 panel with 400 cd/m² brightness displays HDR and offers the EBU, SMPTE-C, Rec.709 and DCI-P3 color spaces.

Four HDMI, two 3G-SDI and multiview

The monitor accepts four HDMI and two 3G-SDI sources, passes a signal on from each interface and shows them in 1P, 2P, PIP and 4P modes.

False color and picture border

The false color function shows how brightness is distributed in the picture. In multi-picture modes the color of the picture border can be set.

Power and two versions

The monitor runs on a V-mount battery or mains power via the AC power cable or the XLR power adapter. It is made with a T stand or in a portable aluminium case.
