In addition to the new RED WEAPON and RED RAVEN cameras, RED Digital Cinema also plans to release new accessories tailored for these models, including new display options. WEAPON RED Touch 4.7" LCD ships early 2016 and is the smallest and most compact form factor LCD in the RED family. WEAPON RED EVF (OLED) will be available November 2015 with a high contrast 1080p OLED micro-display, and improved color accuracy with 30-bit RGB color representation. It will enable to view and monitor your RED footage as it is intended with truer colors and deeper blacks in a larger field of view. The new WEAPON RED Touch 7.0" LCD (no release date, yet) features 1920 x 1136 resolution display panel, and will provide improved color accuracy, high pixel density (at 323 ppi), 1000:1 contrast, and high brightness for operation in high ambient light.

Blackmagic Design's Video Assist is now shipping! It adds high resolution professional monitoring and recording to SDI or HDMI cameras. With a bright 5” high resolution 1920 x 1080 monitor, Blackmagic Video Assist can be added to any camera to ensure perfect focus and framing. The built-in recorder uses high speed SD cards to record professional ProRes and DNxHD files with incredible quality, 10-bit color depth, and 4:2:2 sampling! Video Assist also includes a 6G-SDI connection for Ultra HD monitoring, and LP-E6 battery slots for field operation.

Alphatron Broadcast introduced their new ultra-thin on-camera monitor line, AVtec. The AVtec XHD070 and XHD070Pro are professional, very lightweight monitors with a 7" IPS LCD high quality display. These field-monitors enable you to focus clearly on your shots and eliminate the guesswork from framing. It blows up your tiny built-in camera screen to a much larger display that enables easier viewing and won't strain your eyes. With brightness levels of 400 cd/m2, a 800:1 contrast ratio and 178° vertical and horizontal viewing angles, it’s a great tool for photographers and video shooters alike.

RED Digital Cinema unveiled the latest addition to its line of professional cameras, RED RAVEN. Weighing in at only 3.5 pounds, RED RAVEN is RED’s lightest and most compact camera, making it the ultimate choice for a range of applications including documentaries, online content creation, indie filmmaking, and use with drones or gimbals. With pricing that starts at $5,950 for the camera BRAIN only, and complete packages under $10,000, RED RAVEN reflects RED's ongoing commitment to the belief that cinema-quality creative tools should not be in the hands of a few -- they should be available to all professional shooters.

RED RAVEN is equipped with a 4.5K RED DRAGON sensor, and is capable of recording REDCODE RAW (R3D) in 4.5K (4608 × 2160) at up to 120 fps and in 2K (2048 × 1080) at up to 240 fps. RED RAVEN also offers incredible dynamic range, RED's renowned color science, and is capable of recording REDCODE RAW and Apple ProRes simultaneously -- ensuring shooters get the best image quality possible in any format.

The RED RAVEN Base I/O Package offers everything content creators need to take their productions to the next level of image quality and professionalism, while the RED RAVEN JETPACK Package is specifically designed for use with handheld gimbals, drones, jibs and cranes.
