This software update includes upgrades to DaVinci Resolve 12.3 and Desktop Video 10.6, and fixes occasional dropping of frames when using the 16mm film gate as well as 16mm audio cropping, and improves column artifacts in print blacks as well as general performance improvements.

Cintel 1.1.1 fixes:

• 16mm dropped frames fix.
• Fix for film staying stopped when initiating a capture from ahead of in point.
• Image Transitions now clean/properly blanked.
• 16mm crop area offset by 15 pixels to prevent some instances of audio cropping.
• Black repeater artifacts fixed.

Videohub 6.3.2 software update adds compatibility for Level A SDI on Smart Videohub 12x12, 20x20 and 40x40 models, improved ASI support for Smart Videohub 40x40 as well as compatibility with DVI Extender when in extender mode. The package updates both the client and server software for the Blackmagic Design Videohub series of routers.

Videohub 6.3.2 New Features

• 3G Level A support for Smart Videohubs 12x12 and 20x20 and 40x40.
• Improved ASI support for Smart Videohub 40x40.
• Support for DVI Extender.

According to Grass Valley, EDIUS 8.2 is scheduled for release around NAB 2016, and should include new motion tracker functionality. It will be part of the Mask Filter, not an external OFX plug-in, and in its first iteration users will not be able to apply tracking to titles. Grass Valley also plans to add RAW and LUT support in 8.2. Current plans are to support Sony and Canon RAW, Panasonic is also a possibility.
