Wise has introduced new CFexpress Type Bseries memory cards with 128GB (CFX-C128), 256GB (CFX-C256) and 512GB (CFX-C512) capacities and read and write speeds of 1700MB/s and 1050MB/s (128GB model) and 1550MB/s (256 and 512GB variants) respectively. A new WA-CX01 reader is also available. The new cards are available in limited numbers for now and have also been tested in the Canon EOS C500 Mark II, Nikon Z 6 and Z 7 cameras

Sound Devices announced firmware version 6.00 for all MixPre Series portable audio recorders and USB interfaces. Firmware v6.00 introduces 32-bit float USB audio streaming for the MixPre II Series. As a result, the MixPre-3 II, MixPre-6 II, and MixPre-10 II are the only USB audio interfaces currently on the market that allow cutting-edge 32-bit float recording and playback on Mac OS. 32-bit float USB audio streaming requires Mac OS Catalina (10.15+) and an application that supports 32-bit float.
