Panasonic's next announced new product will go on sale during the last quarter: The HC3900HD studio camera will replace the popular AK-HC3800 and will also bring simultaneous output of SDR and HDR material, expanded format support and, thanks to the 4K sensor, the option of a future upgrade to 4K 60p/50p resolution. Together with the camera, the corresponding CCU (AK-HCU250E) and ROP units (AK-HRP250G) will also be launched, e.g. with PoE power support...

 This software update adds frame rate conversion to HDMI out on ATEM Mini Pro for compatibility with a wider range of monitors when working in lower frame rates as well as improving graphics quality in multiview display. ATEM Switchers 8.2.2 also includes general performance and stability updates for all ATEM Mini switchers.

In the third quarter of this year, Panasonic plans to launch the new AW-UE100UHD installation camera with support for IP protocols NDI, NDI|HX, SRT ("Secure Reliable Transport"), RTMP/RTMPS streaming, 12G-SDI and HDMI interfaces, and FreeD metadata support for easy integration into Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality systems.
