Thenew beta version of DaVinci Resolve Studio 16.3 is available for macOS only for now and implements support for Blackmagic RAW material from Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K cameras (i.e. Blackmagic RAW SDK 2.0 beta; for all other Blackmagic camera models, the Blackmagic RAW 1.8 distribution in update 16.2.4 is sufficient). Thenew generation of the "Pro" compact system for wireless transmission of up to 1080p60 video from small cameras and DSLR/DSLM devices (with HDMI interface) also adds direct Wi-Fi monitoring with up to three tablets/phones (or two mobile devices + monitor connected to the receiver) at a distance of approx. 90 m, a side OLED display, easier menu navigation with a rotary controller and the ability to update FW from the mobile app. Sold in "Standard" (internal antennas, lighter transmitter body) and "Enhanced" (transmitter with external antennas and more durable design) variants and as a standalone transmitter.

At the heart of the URSA Mini Pro 12K is Blackmagic Design's all-new proprietary 12K image sensor. Its development took three years in parallel with the Blackmagic RAW! The Super 35 size sensor does not use the standard Bayer CFA mask and features an equivalent number of pixels for each of the color channels, plus "W" pixels without a color filter for higher sensor light sensitivity, arranged in a 6x6 grid (6xR, 6xG, 6xB and 18xW). The result is perfect color rendition with smooth transitions including fantastic skin tones, without the typical artifacts of standard Bayer mask sensors (aliasing, moiré). The sensor has a native resolution of 12,288 x 6,480 pixels (79.6 MP!) and a sensitivity of eq. ISO 800
