New firmware v2.00 for the Sony Alpha A7R Mark V (ILCE-7RM5) camera brings support for the new Creators' App mobile app (replaces Imaging Edge Mobile software). Sony Creators' App allows you to easily transfer images from your camera to your phone, control the camera shutter, etc. Also new is a more secure connection between the camera and the Creators' App and Imaging Edge Desktop (requires installation of the latest version 3.6). Panasonic to reward pre-orders of upcoming device LUMIX S5M2X with a 2TB external USB SSD from SanDisk (SDSSDE61-2T00-G25)! The promotion is valid for the DC-S5M2XE (body), DC-S5M2XCE (body + S50), DC-S5M2XKE (body + R2060) and DC-S5M2XWE (body + R2060 + S50) models only between March 30 and May 15, 2023. The first S5M2X units are expected in late May and we can look forward to features such as Apple Pro Res RAW output (for Atomos recorders), recording to USB SSDs, ALL intra codec, IP streaming and a unique black design!

New 1.1 firmware for DSLM devices LUMIX S5M2 implements improvements to the live preview AF focus (half-pressing the shutter release button can now activate "Speed Priority" or "Image Priority" modes). FW 1.2 released at the end of February for the LUMIX BS1H now offers the "LUT View Assist (Tether)" function for V-Log preview incl. LUT corrections using LUMIX Tether or LUMIX Sync apps.
