Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder

The Blackmagic URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder is a large 7″ touchscreen viewfinder with 2,000 nits brightness and 1920 × 1200 resolution for URSA Cine cameras in live production. A single locking USB-C cable carries video, power, metadata and camera control, and a large tally light shows the operator and the talent which camera is live. A removable sunshade and an articulated mount with grab handles are part of the viewfinder.

More than a monitor – an extension of the camera

The touchscreen and the physical controls open every camera menu, so you can get studio work done without touching the camera body.

Bright HDR display

The 2,000 nit display makes framing easy even outdoors in sunlight. It shows camera status, histogram, focus peaking, levels, frame guides and 3D LUTs.

Large tally light

The large tally light is red for on air and green for preview, so the operator and the talent know which camera is live. The camera numbers are replaceable.

Control by touch and physical controls

Tap the screen to control monitor overlays, frame rate, shutter, iris, timecode, ISO, white balance, tint, power, recording, media, audio, focus zoom, digital slate and the camera menus. A push button dial, the F1, F2 and F3 buttons and separate knobs for brightness, contrast and focus peaking give quick access without digging through menus.

Articulated mount and grab handles

The articulated mount with adjustable pivot tension moves the viewfinder forward, backward, up, down and sideways. Built in grab handles let you position the viewfinder independently of the camera. The quick release V-Lock bracket attaches with two 1/4-20 screws and fits the viewfinder to the URSA Cine camera.
