The SKAARHOJ RCPv2 with Roller Wheel and Blue Pill Inside is a professional camera shading controller designed for precise multicamera iris control. Featuring a friction-balanced roller wheel, OLED displays, and extensive configurable controls, it delivers smooth, accurate, and flexible IP-based camera management in a classic RCP form factor.
The SKAARHOJ RCPv2 with Roller Wheel and Blue Pill Inside is an advanced camera shading IP controller built for broadcast and live production environments where precise multicamera matching is essential. Designed to support a wide range of professional camera systems—including Sony, Panasonic, Canon, ARRI, RED, and Dream Chip—it allows operators to fine-tune exposure and color consistency across diverse camera setups with speed and accuracy.
At the core of this model is a friction-balanced roller wheel encoder, optimized for smooth and precise iris control. This enables rapid adjustments while maintaining fine control over exposure transitions, making it ideal for dynamic live production scenarios. The system is further enhanced with eight LED-backlit encoders, configurable buttons and knobs, and elastomer controls for flexible operation.
Integrated Blue Pill Inside technology embeds Reactor 2.0, Device Cores, and skaarOS Linux directly into the unit, providing a powerful and highly customizable control platform. Operators can use the Reactor Web UI to tailor workflows, map functions, and integrate multiple third-party devices seamlessly into a unified control surface.
The controller features a comprehensive OLED display system, including segmented screens, encoder displays, and button tiles, ensuring clear real-time feedback across all operations. A DB-9 GPIO port enables easy integration into existing broadcast consoles, while its classic RCP form factor ensures compatibility with standard racks and control environments.
Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), Micro-USB for service access, optional Wi-Fi, and a 2.1 mm DC input. The unit can be powered via PoE or the included 12V power adapter with a 5-foot cable, providing flexible deployment in both studio and mobile production setups.
