The Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio 4K8 is a professional all-in-one live production switcher featuring 8 independent 12G-SDI inputs with support for UHD 4K60 video, built-in streaming, advanced broadcast effects, Fairlight audio mixing, media playback, and Blackmagic Cloud integration. Designed for professional live production, streaming, and multicamera workflows, it combines powerful switching capabilities with a compact and portable design.

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio 4K8 is a high-performance live production switcher built for professional broadcasting, live streaming, studio production, and event coverage in both HD and Ultra HD 4K environments. Combining advanced video switching, audio mixing, streaming, recording, camera control, and graphics management into a single compact system, it offers a complete solution for modern multicamera productions.

The switcher features eight independent 12G-SDI inputs supporting resolutions up to UHD 4K60. Each input includes its own built-in standards converter, allowing sources with different resolutions and frame rates to work together seamlessly without external converters.

Designed for demanding live productions, the ATEM Television Studio 4K8 includes professional ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, DVE processors, transitions, picture-in-picture effects, media players, and graphics storage. The integrated media pool supports broadcast-quality graphics with alpha channels for transparency and layered visual effects.

A built-in Fairlight audio mixer provides advanced 58-channel audio processing and routing capabilities, while embedded SDI audio channels can be manually assigned to program and AUX outputs. MADI audio output support also enables direct connection to professional external audio systems.

The front panel has been completely redesigned with professional broadcast-style controls, dedicated source selection buttons, streaming and recording controls, a built-in LCD display for audio metering, and a T-bar fader for manual transitions. Additional advanced configuration and media management are available through the free ATEM Software Control application for macOS and Windows.

Built-in hardware streaming enables direct live streaming to platforms such as YouTube without requiring additional streaming hardware or software. USB webcam output also allows simple integration with conferencing and streaming applications.

The ATEM Television Studio 4K8 is also compatible with Blackmagic Cloud, allowing recordings and media to be shared and accessed remotely for collaborative workflows from anywhere in the world.
