Add tally to your ATEM switcher with Blackmagic Design's GPI and Tally Interface! With 8 contact closure tally outputs, you can send a tally signal to your cameras, replay machines and monitors so everyone knows which camera is 'on-air'! If you need more tally outputs, simply connect multiple GPI and Tally Interfaces together because it connects via Ethernet to your ATEM production switcher.
Tally and GPI for ATEM Control Rooms
The network interface connects the ATEM switcher to lighting control systems, cameras, playback servers, or monitors. Eight optically isolated inputs and eight relay outputs can be expanded with additional units as needed.

Simple Ethernet Connection
Tally commands are transmitted from a compatible ATEM switcher over the Ethernet network. Connected equipment is connected via a 25-pin D-Sub breakout cable; a pair of network ports facilitates daisy-chain connections of multiple units.
Clear signaling for the entire production team
Eight signaling ports: The GPI and Tally Interface is an Ethernet device with eight outputs featuring relay contacts for light signaling from the control room. Tally signals are sent over the network from ATEM series switchers to units connected to the same network.
Devices that support signaling via relay contacts—such as studio monitors or camera chains—can be connected via a breakout cable. This allows each operator to immediately see which source is currently on air.
For larger control rooms: up to eight devices can be connected to a single unit. If more contacts are needed, additional interfaces can simply be added to the Ethernet network.
The GPI inputs are optically isolated and support up to 5 V at 14 mA. The relay outputs are designed to switch up to 30 V at 1 A.
