Viltrox has introduced a new full-frame lens for Sony mirrorless cameras with a focal length of 85 mm and a low aperture of f/2 - the Viltrox AF 85/2.0 FE!

The lens's focusing range is approximately 0.74 m to infinity, and the silent STM focusing motor can precisely control movement, ensuring accurate and smooth focusing. The lens is compatible with a standard 58 mm filter, is dust and water resistant, and the USB-C interface allows for firmware updates.

The optical design consists of 10 elements in 8 groups, including 2 high-refractive-index elements and 2 ED elements. The Viltrox AF 85/2.0 FE features HD nano multi-layer anti-reflective coating that is water-resistant and stain-resistant. The quiet STM focusing motor allows for fast and accurate focusing, and the lens has a precise bayonet mount made of hardened aluminum alloy.

Focusing is provided by a VCM mechanism – the silent VCM motor can precisely control movement and provides smooth and accurate focusing.
