A special version of EDIUS for 3D video editing is available for download on the GrassValley website. There are also tutorial videos with a 3D editing demonstration (last post in the link).

The new update for V-RAY 2.0 brings many new features to registered users, such as free Hair and Fur.

With each new release, the popular Grass Valley EDIUS nonlinear editing software continues to get better and better. The latest version (6.06), adds significant increases in system performance and brings powerful new features that make the multiformat editor’s job faster and more efficient.

With this new release Grass Valley HDSPARK, HDSPARK Pro and STORM Mobile will enjoy support for the 1080/720 @ 60P (50P) and 60i (50i) HD formats. There’s also an improved workflow for P2-based cameras as well as XDCAM users too.

Perhaps the most significant new development is that EDIUS now supports third-party capture products for the very first time, as support is added for Black Magic Design's Intensity Pro capture card.
