Panasonic Corporation has developed a new AW-UE4WG/KG 4K Integrated Camera with high-quality 4K video output, equipped with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The product is scheduled to be released in October 2019.
A variety of video formats are supported, beginning with 3840 x 2160 30p/29.97p/25p 4K output. Also featuring an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 111° field of view, the product can capture corner to corner of even the largest spaces, and it enables highly flexible installation and transmission of wide-angle video in limited installation spaces.
It is equipped with three video output interfaces, HDMI, LAN and USB, enabling the configuration and operation of the system in a wide variety of situations.
Also, in addition to supporting PoE (Power over Ethernet) supply, the new camera can be powered via USB cable, enabling a single cable solution for video transmission, camera control, and power supply over a LAN or USB cable.
RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) compatibility also allows direct upload of video to live-streaming services, making it excellent for live production use.
