Thethird and last in a series of videos describing the new features of Grass Valley EDIUS X is here with Czech subtitles! Among the new features demonstrated are greatly improved motion tracking features, an enhanced subtitler and new effect interlaces. Grass Valley EDIUS X will be available for sale on September 15th.

Thepopular V-Rayrendering plug-in has reached its fifth version for Autodesk Maya software! Just like the recently released version 5 for 3ds Max, Layer Compositing and Light Mix technologies have been implemented for non-destructive image editing in the V-Ray Frame Buffer window and interactive light editing, respectively, without rendering. V-Ray 5 also offers a new VRay Proxy module for faster rendering, support for the ACEScg color space, and significant optimizations for GPU acceleration (2D displacement, OSL textures, memory optimizations for large scenes).

• Fixes metadata synchronization with video when recording to Blackmagic RAW format
  
• Fixes red coloration of the LCD preview on some Video Assist 5" 12G HDR units after updating to FW 3.2
  
• Improves HDR standard selection for HDMI inputs in cases where incomplete HDMI metadata is obtained.
