With the SMX-30V, Azden takes their innovation of a switchable stereo/mono microphone to another level by incorporating a mixing dial. The first video microphone of its kind, the SMX-30V lets the user choose from using 100% of the stereo microphone, 100% of the mono-shotgun microphone, or any mix in between. Recording a dialogue scene but want to incorporate some of the environment’s ambience? Mix in a little of the stereo microphone. Thepopular four-channel USB mixing console MC4 is back in stock. It offers two XLR mic/line inputs with +48V phantom power, two RCA/6.3mm inputs, USB and Bluetooth inputs, USB power, integrated effects (correction, reverb), headphone output with volume control and very small dimensions (18x15 cm, 0.43 kg).

This software update adds support for the HDR grading palette when using DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel, improves deinterlacing quality and provides better handling of crossfades when trimming audio clips. This update also adds support for Netflix loudness standards in the Fairlight loudness analyzer and improves accuracy when displaying a range marked with in and out points on the Fairlight timeline. DaVinci Resolve Studio 17.0 Public Beta 8 also improves HDR previewing when the Mac display color profile option is enabled and provides better scaling during playback when using optimized media in performance mode. The update also adds improved Fusion path maps, better handling of macros with non image outputs, accuracy improvements when editing splines and general performance and stability improvements.
