The ATEM Mini Extreme is the largest model in the ATEM Mini line of compact overheads from Blackmagic Design, represented on the Czech and Slovak markets by Syntex. It is the most powerful single-effects bus overhead in the Blackmagic Design range: it offers 8 inputs, 4 ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyer modules, 6 DVE effects, 2 media players, 2 downstream keys, 16-segment multi-view display, 2 USB interfaces and several HDMI outputs. In addition, the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO variant offers the ability to record 9 tracks, i.e. all 8 inputs and outputs of a show. Both models are equipped with features for streaming shows to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms.

The ATEM Mini overheads make it easy to create live shows for e.g. YouTube as well as professional corporate presentations using Skype or Zoom, via multiple camera inputs or the ability to incorporate the output of a game console or computer into the show, e.g. a PowerPoint presentation. Integrated effects functions allow you to create blending effects or picture-in-picture shots, for creating continuously annotated videos, etc.
All models of the ATEM Mini series have a USB interface operating in webcam mode for streaming output and an HDMI output suitable for previewing on TVs and projectors, for example. The ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models also allow the use of the USB interface for recording to USB drives. The microphone inputs then allow the connection of microphones for recording interviews and presentation comments.
ATEM Mini directories feature an integrated, compact console with buttons for selecting inputs, and effects. The ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models also offer buttons for controlling recording and streaming, and switching output between camera outputs and Program and Multiview modes. The rear panel hosts HDMI inputs for cameras or other video sources, microphone inputs, USB interface, and HDMI ("Aux") outputs.
The ATEM Mini Pro and ATEM Mini Extreme models add a hardware encoder for live streaming of shows via an Ethernet interface. This allows streaming to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitch, in high quality, without the risk of dropped frames and with a simpler configuration. The ATEM Software Control application offers a number of functions for setting up the stream; a preview of the broadcast status is also displayed on the multi-view output including the bitrate. Advanced users and studio engineers can edit streaming profiles in an XML file that contains complete device settings.
For easier streaming from locations outside the studio, ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models support internet connectivity via 4G and 5G mobile phones (with iOS and Android) and USB interfaces. This feature can also be used to create a backup connection to the Ethernet interface for increased operational reliability. Once connected, the phone is also powered from the USB interface.
The ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme variants also support direct recording of streaming video to USB drives. This allows long recordings - in the same H.264 format with AAC audio as the streaming - as well as subsequent upload to other online video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo. Overheads support endless sequential recording to multiple drives connected e.g. via a USB hub or Blackmagic MultiDock product. Recording settings and disc selection can be made using ATEM Software Control; multi-view output shows the recording status.
The ATEM Mini Pro ISO and Extreme ISO versions allow subsequent post-production of live shows by simultaneously recording multiple tracks of video, i.e. all unedited input and output of the show including metadata and timecode. Used still images are also stored along with the videos. Users can thus easily edit an already aired programme with colour corrections, effects and new graphics. The audio side of the show is recorded as well, for subsequent audio post-production.
The ISO models are also able to save the project in DaVinci Resolve format, so it can be subsequently opened with a single mouse click! The project file preserves all edits, blending effects and still images. This makes it easy to edit edit tracks or replace them entirely using DaVinci Resolve's Sync Bin feature for multi-camera editing. For Ultra HD project transformation and maximum quality color correction, recorded tracks can be replaced with the original Blackmagic RAW videos from the cameras.
Two independent stereo audio inputs with 3.5mm jack connectors allow the use of lapel microphones for broadcast interviews and debates, for example. The audio core of the ATEM Mini is based on Fairlight's audio technology for high-quality and stable mixing of all audio sources (HDMI, microphone inputs) in real time. ATEM Mini Extreme variants offer an additional headphone output.
Each of the HDMI inputs is fully synchronized and automatically converts 1080p, 1080i and 720p signals to the current overhead resolution. In Program/Preview operating mode, the HDMI output can preview the output from the cameras or the program being created, ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models offer an additional multi-view output.
The free ATEM Software Control app unlocks the hidden power of ATEM Mini overheads! It allows you to fully configure all overhead functions via USB or Ethernet; the network interface also allows multiple users to connect. The integrated media library can be used to import up to 20 static RGBA images from ATEM Software Control for logos, titles or splash screens, or graphics can be imported from Photoshop with the included plug-in. In addition, overhead settings can be saved to XML files, or remote control of HyperDeck disk recorders over the Ethernet interface.
ATEM Mini Extreme models offer four keying effects in chroma mode for easy creation of spectacular virtual studios with up to four cameras. With eight inputs, four cameras plus an equal number of generated backgrounds from the virtual studio system can be connected. Alternatively, static camera positions can be created and still images from internal libraries and media players can be used as backgrounds. Of course, it is possible to create macros to change cameras and upload correct backgrounds to media libraries. Another option is to use the DeckLink Quad HDMI product and software to generate real-time virtual studios.
In addition to the two independent DVE effects on the ATEM Mini Extreme models, there is also a very powerful SuperSource compositing processor with four more DVE layers and an additional layer for backgrounds. Any of the ATEM Mini Extreme's overhead inputs can be used as a source for individual DVE layers, which are then combined with a background selected from the media library. The SuperSource tool is ideal for picture-in-picture compositions with multiple presenters and guests while retaining two DVE effects for additional graphics.
For more complex productions with a larger number of cameras, it is necessary to monitor all the outputs from the cameras and other video sources together, on a single monitor. The ATEM Mini Pro and ATEM Mini Extreme models offer professional multi-view output for previewing all video inputs and Program and Preview views on a monitor or HDMI TV. Each of the camera previews also displays title, audio meters and a tally indicator. The multi-view preview also displays the media player, recording and streaming status, and the Fairlight virtual mixing console.
The ATEM Streaming Bridge is a dedicated converter of H.264 video streams from ATEM Mini Pro and ATEM Mini Extreme overheads to SDI and HDMI interfaces. This facilitates video transmission within local networks or globally over the Internet. The H.264 video codec used guarantees high image quality at low bitrate. The ATEM Streaming Bridge therefore allows you to create a branched network of studios equipped with ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme and thus collaborate with e.g. bloggers or local news organizations. ATEM Software takes care of creating a configuration file that users can email to individual studios.

Blackmagic Design Web Presenter HD is a complete solution for streaming H.264 video to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms. The new Web Presenter HD variant features a 12G-SDI input with resolution conversion and allows streaming directly from HD or Ultra HD equipment at full 1080p resolution. It also offers an integrated front panel with LCD display, USB webcam functionality, and a unique monitoring output with audio meters, stream status and SDI data information.

Blackmagic Web Presenter is a hardware streaming solution with an Ethernet network interface for live streaming to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms. It is the successor to TV broadcasters for the modern internet age audience! In addition, it offers a USB interface allowing it to be used in webcam mode with any streaming application including Skype or Zoom communication platforms. Streaming can be done via Ethernet interface or with 5G and 4G mobile phones. The Web Presenter also features a monitoring output displaying video, audio meters, and a variety of information about SDI data, etc.
Blackmagic Web Presenter supports all common streaming platforms; its hardware has been designed for professional, broadcast-quality streaming with no dropped frames. Setting up the device is simplicity itself: just connect it to the Internet and use the Web Presenter Utility to select the target platform and update the streaming key. It therefore does not require an additional computer or complicated streaming software to operate. Once connected to an SDI video source - such as a director or camera - it connects to the Internet directly, via the built-in network port or mobile phone data connection. Simultaneously, a USB output can also be used in webcam mode.
For streaming from locations outside the studio, a backup of the main Ethernet connection can be used in the form of a 4G/5G mobile data connection for iOS or Android phones. USB ports on the front and rear panel are used for this purpose: Blackmagic Web Presenter automatically detects the mobile connection and can use it for main streaming or as an automatic backup for the Ethernet connection. This setting is entirely up to the user.
For maximum compatibility, the Blackmagic Web Presenter is equipped with a pair of USB ports allowing streaming 1080 HD video in webcam mode. It can therefore be connected to virtually any computer and use any software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Open Broadcaster, XSplit Broadcaster and many more.
Traditional broadcasters are a critical part of any TV station, but streaming servers are now just as important a link in the production chain. That's why Blackmagic Web Presenter is equipped with a monitoring output that displays audio levels, bitrate, current stream settings or SDI data information. The 1080 HD monitoring output is present on both SDI and HDMI interfaces and can therefore be used, for example, in conjunction with an SDI router (for multi-unit monitoring) as well as a conventional HDMI TV. The supplied Blackmagic Web Presenter Utility software for macOS and Windows is used to set up multiple Web Presenter devices as well as to update the firmware. USB and Ethernet interfaces provide connectivity to computers, and the front-facing LCD display can also be used to set up devices.
With a 12G-SDI input, the Blackmagic Web Presenter supports all HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. There is also a 12G-SDI output for daisy chaining multiple Web Preseners and easy streaming to multiple platforms. The product uses Teranex technology to convert HD or Ultra HD video to 1080p HD format, which is further processed by a hardware H.264 encoder. In addition to streaming, Blackmagic Web Presenter can also be used as a private, global SDI connection between sites: the optional ATEM Streaming Bridge product converts the H.264 stream back to SDI!
The redundancy of functions ensures high operational reliability of the device: in addition to the ability to stream via Ethernet interface and mobile connection, this includes power inputs for both AC and DC. This makes it possible to power it not only from the mains but also with batteries.
The Blackmagic Web Presenter product is based on the modular Teranex Mini series. With a width of only 5.5" it is very easy to carry, and can just as easily be installed in an optional rack that can accommodate up to three devices, or additional products such as the ATEM Television Studio HD!

Whether users will be shooting in bright sunlight or near darkness, the 13 EV dynamic range, dual native sensor sensitivity and maximum ISO up to 25,600 ensure perfect image quality, with minimal noise. 6K models feature a Super 35 size sensor, which allows for shooting shots with shallow depth of field or using anamorphic lenses. All models in the range can shoot at frame rates up to 60 fps in full resolution or 120 fps in crop mode.
Both 6K models are equipped with an EF mount, allowing users to use existing lenses previously purchased for DSRL/DSLM cameras, URSA Mini Pro cameras and the original Blackmagic Cinema Camera models! The electronic interface of the bayonet allows focus and aperture adjustment via the touch screen or camera buttons on compatible lenses.
An exclusive feature of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro model is the integrated, motorized stack of neutral density gray filters (ND 2, 4 and 6) specifically designed with camera colorimetry in mind. The filters uniformly reduce both the visible and infrared portions of the spectrum to minimize IR contamination of the image. The activation buttons for the ND filters are located on the rear panel of the camera, so they can be easily operated with the thumb of the right hand.
The devices in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera line also offer a dual native sensor sensitivity mode (ISO 400/3,200) and ISO up to 25,600 for noise minimization and wide dynamic range. Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras use the standard 10-bit Apple ProRes format (up to 4K resolution) or 12-bit Blackmagic RAW format (up to 6K) without the need for format conversion during post-production. A free Blackmagic RAW SDK is also available for developers allowing them to implement Blackmagic RAW support in other applications. Recording media (CFast, SD UHS-II, external USB-C 3.1 Gen 1) can be formatted for both HFS+ (macOS) and ExFAT (Windows) file systems.

The "Generation 5 Color Science" algorithms for processing the image sensor data have been adopted from the high-end URSA Mini Pro 12K and guarantee perfect image quality, including natural skin tone rendering, as well as improved rendering of the darkest and brightest parts of the image. The algorithms take care of conversion to Blackmagic RAW format, which preserves the wide dynamic range and colour response of the sensor thanks to metadata that can be used for further processing of the footage.
The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro also supports the connection of an optional external viewfinder with a high-quality OLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 960, a glass optic consisting of four lenses for focus adjustment from -4 to +4 and a viewfinder view sensor. Important status information (focus, guides, etc.) is of course displayed. The viewfinder of the Pocket Cinema Camera Pro EVF connects via an integrated connector, is positionable within 70° and comes with four different eyepieces for both left and right eye.
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera models feature a Mini XLR connector including 48V phantom power for connecting professional condenser microphones. The 6K Pro model features a pair of Mini XLR connectors for recording two audio tracks without the need for external mixing equipment. A quad of integrated microphones with low noise and high immunity to shock and wind blast ensure quality audio recording without the need for external microphones. There is also a 3.5mm microphone input, headphone output or integrated speaker.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K models use standard LP-E6 batteries, while the 6K Pro variant is powered by a larger capacity NP-F570 battery. There is also the option of powering external DC power supplies, including an included power supply that is capable of simultaneously powering the camera and recharging its internal battery. A locking nut on the power connector ensures operational reliability. The USB-C interface extends power options to phone chargers, laptop power supplies, external batteries, etc. An optional battery grip replaces the internal battery with a pair of batteries for significantly longer battery life.
All models in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera series also include a full version of the renowned DaVinci Resolve Studio application with cutting-edge audiovisual processing features. DaVinci Resolve includes a revolutionary new Cut section for maximum ease in finding and editing videos, as well as professional features for color correction, editing, audio post-production and visual effects!
