New 1.1 firmware for DSLM devices LUMIX S5M2 implements improvements to the live preview AF focus (half-pressing the shutter release button can now activate "Speed Priority" or "Image Priority" modes). FW 1.2 released at the end of February for the LUMIX BS1H now offers the "LUT View Assist (Tether)" function for V-Log preview incl. LUT corrections using LUMIX Tether or LUMIX Sync apps. Deliveries of the new PTZ camera Panasonic AW-UE160 will start at the end of March! The new flagship model in Panasonic's fleet of PTZ cameras offers the flexibility of remote controlled installation cameras as well as the image quality and features of studio and film models. In addition to high sensitivity comparable to studio models (F14/2,000 lx), it also offers the latest image processing algorithms adopted from the LUMIX series (including PDAF focus, V-Log mode and hybrid image stabilization), wireless transmission via 5G routers (USB), support for NDI, NDI|HX, SRT, FreeD, RTMP/RTMPS and SMPTE ST2110 standards/protocols (requires optional AW-SFU60 license).
