At NAB 2023, Teradek presented a new range of professional systems for wireless transmission of HD (Ranger Micro) and 4K (Ranger Mark II) video! The new transmitters/receivers support transmission of visually lossless video with <1 ms latency over distances of up to 228, 762 or 1524 m (depending on variant), and in addition to the 5GHz band, they also support unlicensed 6GHz/UNII-5 with the ability to tune in 5 MHz increments to minimize interference. Both series also offer SDI (3G on the Ranger Micro and 12G on the Ranger Mk II) and HDMI interfaces as well as AES-256 encryption.

New beta adds additional improvements such as improvements to text-based editing including automatic language detection and expanded language transcription for 14 additional languages plus auto subtitling. It also adds support for editing and deletion of generated text, silent segment detection and display, and the ability to remove these segments from transcribed text. Words and paragraphs can also now be highlighted and deleted. This update to beta 2 also includes bug fixes such as scripting API improvements plus general performance and stability improvements. New Fusion public beta including updates to multimerge features such as an option to automatically name layers based on the input tool, the ability to multi select and delete layers from the multimerge inspector and easier management of large layer counts. This update also adds improved support for USD memory management, support for Blackmagic film color spaces and Blackmagic RAW SDK 3.1. Blackmagic RAW 3.1 adds support for Blackmagic RAW clips recorded by Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR from Panasonic Lumix S5II and S5IIX cameras (also requires Blackmagic Video Assist 3.10 update).

RED Digital Cinema introduced the new KOMODO-X ST, the next evolution of the KOMODO camera line available now. KOMODO-X builds on the original KOMODO, multiplying frame rates and advancing dynamic range performance while expanding on the versatility of KOMODO. KOMODO-X features a next-generation 6K S35 Global Shutter sensor, expanding on the renowned KOMODO image performance with architecture improvements that allow for increased low-light performance, paired with double the frame rates at 6Kp80 and 4Kp120 makes KOMODO-X an even more powerful tool for filmmakers across the industry. Panasonic has released the official list of supported recorders for external recording of RAW material for the new DC-S5M2X.
