Tilta Side Arm for Sony FX6

The Tilta Side Arm ES-T20-SA is a part of the cage for the Sony FX6: it joins the Multi-Functional Top Plate to the quick release baseplate, covers the side of the camera and adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with holes for locating pins. It has a reserved space for three A, B, C index stickers for multi-camera shoots. Aluminium alloy with stainless steel parts, black — the spare part for every ES-T20 cage kit.

The Tilta Side Arm for Sony FX6 is the side arm of the Tilta ES-T20 cage. It is part of the Basic, Advanced and Vertical Mounting Kit sets and is bought separately as a replacement — when the arm gets damaged while building a rig, or when you assemble the cage from individual parts.

The cage link that covers the side

The arm mounts to the side of the FX6 body and joins the Multi-Functional Top Plate ES-T20-MTP to the quick release baseplate ES-T20-QRBP — only with it do the three parts form a rigid protective cage. At the same time it shields the side of the camera from scuffs and knocks and carries further 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with holes for locating pins, so a wireless video transmitter, on-board monitor or microphone holds on the side without twisting and does not take up the top plate.

Index stickers and the parts that follow

The arm has a reserved space for three reusable A, B and C index stickers, so on a multi-camera shoot you recognise the camera at a glance — on set and in the edit. The side plate ES-T20-SMP with a cold shoe and a flat surface for vertical shooting attaches to the arm. The arm is aluminium alloy with stainless steel hardware and matches the rest of the cage in black.

The Tilta cage for the Sony FX6

The Tilta cage for the Sony FX6 (ES-T20) wraps the camera with all ports protected and adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points with ARRI locating pins, NATO rails and 15 mm rod holders. The ES-T20 accessories build on it — top plate, handles, battery plates, side plate or rod holders mount to the cage and to the camera body and combine freely; this one is among them.
