The SmallRig 6537 power cable replaces the EN-EL15c battery in a Nikon and feeds it from a V-mount battery over D-Tap. The display shows the input voltage — green above 13.0 V, red as a low warning below. The housing is flame-retardant ABS.

The SmallRig 6537 is a power cable with an EN-EL15c dummy battery for Nikon cameras. It goes in where the battery would sit and connects over a D-Tap plug to an external source, typically a V-mount battery. The camera then runs without a break, so there are no battery swaps during long recordings, livestreams or other extended shoots.

The built-in display shows the input voltage and the power status in real time. Above 13.0 V a green indicator stays on; below 13.0 V a red one lights or flashes as a low-power warning. If the D-Tap plug goes in the wrong way round, no voltage is shown and reverse-connection protection trips — turn the cable round and reconnect.

An upgraded chip keeps the camera from showing unknown-battery warnings. The dummy battery is moulded to the dimensions of the original, so it slides in and out easily. Protection covers overvoltage, overheating, overcharge and short circuit, and the housing is flame-retardant ABS. Certifications: FCC, CE, RoHS, ISED, RCM.
