Product description
The Nikon Z f kit with the NIKKOR Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1 lens pairs a full-frame camera in a classic black finish inspired by the FM2 with a light FX-format all-round zoom for travel, portraits and video. The Z f has a 24.5 MP sensor, up to 8 EV image stabilisation, brass dials and a monochrome profile switch, and records 4K oversampled from 6K.
Autofocus with 299 points covers the sensor area, tracks people, animals, birds, vehicles and aircraft, and works down to −10 EV. The vari-angle touchscreen makes shots from unusual angles and self-recording easy.
Classic looks, modern technology
The Z f body in black and the NIKKOR Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1 lens weighing approximately 350 g.
24.5 MP, FX formatup to 8 EV stabilisation4K oversampled from 6KAF down to −10 EV24–105 mm zoom0.5× magnification
Inspired by the FM2
Dials made of precision-milled brass develop a patina over time. Next to the shutter speed and ISO dials there is a switch for three monochrome profiles that gives photos and video a classic black-and-white look.
Video all day long
4K oversampled from 6K at 24p and 30p, 4K/60p and Full HD up to 120p. A single clip can run up to 125 minutes, with 8-bit and 10-bit H.265 in SDR, HLG and N-Log.
From landscape to portrait
The FX-format 24–105 mm zoom covers everything from wide angle to short telephoto: landscapes, cityscapes, travel, portraits and video. The lens weighs approximately 350 g, and its sealing helps keep dust and water droplets out.
Close-up detail
From 24 to 50 mm it focuses as close as 0.2 m, at 105 mm down to 0.28 m. Between 70 and 105 mm it reaches 0.5× magnification, so a flower, a dish or a small object can be captured without changing lenses.
Sharp handheld shots
Five-axis sensor-shift stabilisation reaches up to 8 EV, so handheld shots stay sharp at longer shutter speeds and in low light, even with this lens, which has no stabilisation of its own.
Quiet focusing
A stepping motor (STM) drives fast, smooth and very quiet autofocus, so focusing noise does not spoil the video soundtrack.
Control ring
The lens ring can be assigned to manual focus or aperture, for example, so settings change silently.
Hi-Res Zoom
In Full HD video it extends the focal length 2×, up to the equivalent of 210 mm, without loss of image quality.
Two cards
One slot for SD (UHS-II) and one for microSD (UHS-I), with backup or separate recording.
