RGBlink RGBCTL-PTZ-BK PTZ Controller

The RGBlink PTZ Camera Controller allows you to control up to 255 cameras via Ethernet and serial connections. ONVIF, VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocols are supported. A joystick, knobs, and key controls allow the user to quickly switch between PTZ cameras and adjust the parameters. An LCD screen with a key tone is present on the front panel.

A desktop controller for the director or camera operator running PTZ cameras remotely: the joystick pans, tilts and zooms, the buttons select a camera and recall presets, and the LCD shows what is being controlled. Cameras connect over a serial line or the network.

Joystick, knobs and LCD display

The four-axis joystick controls up, down, left and right, zoom and rotation, and its deflection sets the camera speed. Five rotary knobs and the buttons select the camera, adjust parameters and recall presets. The LCD on the front panel shows the status, and key presses can be confirmed by a tone that can be switched off.

Serial and network control

The rear panel has an RS232 port (DB15), an RS422/RS485 terminal block and an RJ45 network connector. Over serial the controller speaks VISCA, Pelco-D and Pelco-P at 2400 to 115200 baud, over the network ONVIF and VISCA. It is powered from 12 V DC or via PoE, and the firmware is updated through the web interface.

Up to 255 cameras from one desk

The controller addresses up to 255 cameras. RGBlink vue cameras support VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-D, Pelco-P and ONVIF and have RS232 and RS485 ports, so they connect over a serial line or the network. The customer-editable control code lets the controller be adapted to other PTZ cameras using these protocols.
