The PTZOptics Link 4K 30X is a PTZ camera for large auditoriums, sports venues, performance spaces and expansive Dante installations. It shoots up to 4K at 60 frames per second, covers 59.2° to 2.5° and follows the presenter on its own. It sends video and audio natively over Dante AV-H, also offers SDI, HDMI, USB and IP streaming, and a single PoE+ cable powers it.

The presenter always in frame

Presenter-Lock auto-tracking keeps the selected person framed even with other people in the shot, and you switch between presenters with a single click. Group Lock keeps a whole group in frame.

Video and audio on your Dante network

The camera sends 4K video over Dante AV-H, with routing and device management handled in the Dante environment. The 3.5 mm line input sends two channels of Dante audio to the network, while the 3.5 mm output plays audio from another Dante source.

Fits your production

Besides Dante it offers HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, USB 2.0 and IP streaming over SRT, RTSP or RTMP. Control it with a PTZOptics joystick, via VISCA or from production software such as OBS, vMix, Wirecast or TriCaster.

More production with fewer operators

Horizon software, included with the camera, adds browser-based control, visual presets, tracking automation and fine image adjustment. Regular firmware updates keep adding features throughout the camera’s life.

From wide to detail

A 59.2° horizontal field of view covers the whole space, while 30x zoom tightens to 2.5° for detail.

Smooth ±170° pan and −30° to +90° tilt at speeds up to 100°/s.

Mount it anywhere

The camera detects upside-down mounting and flips the image automatically.

Auto-tracking range. The manufacturer recommends tracking a person up to 60 m (200 ft) with the 12X model, 76 m (250 ft) with the 20X and 91 m (300 ft) with the 30X.

Dante network synchronization. The camera automatically syncs to the Dante network clock leader, so video stays aligned with audio from mixers and amplifiers.

IR remote included. Turn tracking on or off with a single button and use the arrows to switch between people in the shot.

Stream straight from the camera. Broadcast to YouTube, Facebook or any RTMP(S) service without a computer, and add audio through the 3.5 mm input.

From wide to tele. Across its full zoom range the camera covers the whole space as well as detail at the far end of the room.
