Hybrid precision without changing tripods
The Manfrotto ONE aluminium tripod and 500X fluid head form a ready-to-shoot system for mirrorless creators who move between still photography, cinematic video and vertical social content. The stable non-round legs, fluid movement and quick-change mechanisms keep one compact setup adaptable in the studio and on location.

Landscape or portrait in seconds
The hinged 500X platform moves securely through 90° for horizontal or vertical capture. Fluid Drag System cartridges act on both pan and tilt, while the selectable Counterbalance System helps hold a mirrorless rig steady. The 501PL sliding plate drops in from above through the side-lock mechanism, and the built-in bubble level speeds up accurate framing.
From 30.8 cm to 181 cm
The patented XTEND mechanism deploys each three-section leg quickly, and independent angles of 20°, 50° and 81.5° support conventional, wide and ground-level setups. Remove the rubber ends to expose metal spikes for additional grip on uneven surfaces. The shaped aluminium tubes provide the rigidity needed for stills and the torsional resistance required for smooth pans.
Level, go overhead or build a compact rig
The rapid sliding centre column levels the kit without laborious leg adjustments. Its removable lower section enables near-ground work, and the Q90 mechanism moves the column horizontally for flat lays, tutorials and product photography. An anti-rotation Easy Link connection accepts a compatible arm for a light, monitor or microphone without adding another stand.
XCHANGE keeps the workflow moving
The 60 mm flat base works with Manfrotto XCHANGE, so the head can move between compatible supports without rebuilding the rig. Use fluid drag for controlled motion, lock the axes for static frames, and rebalance quickly with the sliding plate when the camera changes. A padded carrying bag is supplied for transport.
