EDIUS

Second update for EDIUS 11, version 11.00.13147, fixes several bugs and brings improvements to the Bin window and import of XAVC H media. The complete list of new features is here, and the new version is available for download at edius.net/edius_download.html.

New EDIUS.NET podcast is dedicated to the new subtitler EDIUS 11 and the Acon Acoustica tool, which is used to convert dialog tracks to text subtitles, timeline markers, etc. The tool is currently optimized for English, and the developers are working on higher conversion accuracy for other languages.

First update for EDIUS 11 is here! Version 11.00.12965 brings support for the latest Blackmagic RAW 3.4 API (and thus support for URSA Mini Pro 12K OLPF and Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K), as well as support for RED RAW 8.4, and several fixes related to sequence naming and opening large projects. In another report from IBC the EDIUS.NET team focused on the new features of EDIUS 11 using artificial intelligence and the possibilities of connecting external services thanks to the new Chorus Hub server. The new AI tools allow, for example, to easily reduce noise in audio recordings automatically or create subtitles from dialogue tracks.
