The new UltraStudio 4K Mini model is a portable Thunderbolt 3 capture and playback solution packed with the latest broadcast technology, including 12G‑SDI, HDMI 2.0 and analog connections. Customers get broadcast quality 8 and 10-bit high dynamic range capture in all formats up to 4K DCI at 60p, and 12-bit high dynamic range capture in all formats up to 4K DCI at 30p. It’s small enough to fit in a rack or be used on a desktop. The front panel features push button controls, an LCD for monitoring signal and setup, an XLR microphone input and a ¼" headphone jack. UltraStudio 4K Mini features USB for connecting a keyboard and mouse, plus it will trickle charge their laptop computer when connected to the Thunderbolt 3 port. There’s even a built in SD card reader allowing instant access to their camera media cards.

Featuring a larger 6144 x 3456 Super 35 sensor and EF lens mount, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K lets you use larger EF photographic lenses to create cinematic images with shallower depth of field, allowing creative defocussed backgrounds and gorgeous bokeh effects! Extra resolution also gives you more room for reframing in editing and color correction. This means that you can shoot in 6K and then in post production zoom and re frame to allow wide shots and close ups to be created, all from a single camera and without losing image quality!

Supports 3G/HD/SD 1920x1080 panel resolution, features 1x 3G/HD/SD-SDI, 2x HDMI inputs; 1x 3G/HD/SD-SDI, 1x HDMI loop through, SDI/HDMI cross conversion, and sports column (YRGB peak), time code, waveform, vector scope & audio level meter, peaking, zoom, pix to pix, underscan, check field, tally light, and other features.

More than 55 of the 2018 fall television and streaming series rely on Blackmagic Design’s digital film cameras, DaVinci Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio, as well as switchers, routers, monitors and more.
