Blackmagic Design are announcing a 40% price reduction on the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K to the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2model, effective immediately! The price reduction has been achieved through streamlined manufacturing and increased availability of 12K sensors. Along with the new version of DaVinci Resolve 17.3, which brings significant speed optimizations (up to 3x for 4K and 8K resolution projects on the Apple Mac M1 platform), this makes high-resolution shooting and post-production technologies significantly more accessible.

This software update adds a new processing engine for improved performance on Apple Mac models with the M1 chip. In addition, there are new controls for Resolve FX including aperture diffraction, mosaic blur, keyer and glow, as well as improvements in audio latency and the Fairlight export dialog. Edits from subclips can now be match framed to original media, plus DaVinci Resolve 17.3 will now decode AVC Intra files using the media engine built into the Apple M1 chip.

Thenew Vaxis Storm range of wireless systems for transmission of up to 1080p60 video, without compression, with latency below 1 ms and at distances of 350 m (Storm 1000S), 600 m (Storm 2000) or 1000 m(Storm3000). Transmission is implemented in the 5 GHz band (20 channels, 20/40 MHz bandwidth) with multicasting to multiple receivers and compatibility across the entire Vaxis Storm range including the 7" Storm 072 monitor/receiver (also in stock). 3G-SDI/HDMI interface, 2-pin Lemo power input, V-Mount battery plates.

In stock new wireless system for transmission of compressed H.265 1080p video over a distance of approx. 150 m with latency below 80 ms. The Vaxis Atom 500system offers both 3G-SDI and HDMI interfaces, uses visually lossless H.265 compression and allows multicasting to up to 3 iOS mobile devices. There's also a great-to-read OLED status display, USB-C interface for power and firmware upgrades, L-Series/NP-F battery slot, and the ability to disable the fan for quiet operation.
