Late last month, Panasonic launched new firmware for LUMIX models DC-S1/S1H/BS1H/S5 and LUMIX DC-GH5S/BGH1. The main new feature in all updates is improved Blackmagic RAW recording using Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR recorders, allowing more accurate white balance correction during post-production in DaVinci Resolve. For the DC-S5 in addition, (in today's new 2.6 update), compatibility with remote trigger Panasonic DMW-RS2. The update for MFT models is available here, for FF devices here.

This software update adds support for synchronization with Google Drive, Finder window access direct from the Blackmagic Cloud Store utility, improved stability when working with files with long names and large directories, plus general performance improvements.
