The new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 is here! This upgraded model brings a 5" flip-up LCD monitor, NP-F570 battery powering like the 6K Pro version, and compatibility with the existing (optional) viewfinder of the Pro model, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera Pro EVF!

Simultaneously released Blackmagic Camera Setup 7.9 firmware implements a new GUI, improved lens and autofocus support for BMPCC 4K/6K/6KPro variants and compatibility with the Blackmagic Design Zoom/FocusDemand controls for all 6K variants, respectively. For all current Pocket Cinema Camera models, it also activates metadata output for the previously unused internal camera gyro sensor for subsequent automatic stabilization of BRAW material in DaVinci Resolve 18 (as of the fifth beta version)!
