Connections and sound

HDMI 1.4 input and output plus USB‑C UVC ports let you connect a camera or webcam and send a webcam signal to a computer.

A 3.5mm input takes a microphone or line source. The built-in mixer combines analog audio with HDMI and USB sound; channels can be adjusted independently and mixed to stereo.

Record an HDMI source up to 1080p60 or USB UVC input up to 1080p30.

AtomOS Lite and picture control

AtomOS Lite configures streaming, switches sources, plays clips, mixes audio and adds graphics overlays or watermarks.

Picture-in-picture can combine live HDMI/USB sources with clips on the SD card. Overlay graphics can add branding, captions or other information.

Display and monitoring tools

The SuperAtom IPS touchscreen offers 1920 × 1080 pixels, 1,000-nit brightness, 423 ppi, 178° viewing angles and Rec.709 gamut.

Composition aids include a nine-grid, 2× zoom, 16:9, 1.91:1, 4:3, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 frame guides, and horizontal or vertical image flip.

Power and local recording

H.264 recording in an MP4 wrapper is stored on SD UHS‑I cards up to 128 GB; the card is not included.

Power comes from one Sony NP‑F/L‑Series battery or USB‑C PD. An optional Battery Eliminator also supports a locking DC jack or a suitable D‑Tap cable.
