Development of TAMRON 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 for Z and RF mounts

Tamron has announced the development of the TAMRON 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061), with CANON RF and NIKON Z bayonets for APS-C mirrorless cameras. This lens is on the market from autumn 2022 with Sony E and Fujifilm X bayonets. It also won the EISA 2022-2023 - BEST PRODUCT award in the TRAVEL ZOOM LENS category . The new lenses are planned to be launched in the summer of this year.

The TAMRON 18-300 mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD is a versatile zoom lens for mirrorless cameras with interchangeable APS-C format lenses, the first lens in the world to achieve a 16.6× zoom ratio. With this zoom range, you can enjoy shooting from wide-angle to ultra-wide angle without having to change lenses. This makes it ideal for a wide range of scenes, including landscapes, snapshots, portraits, animals and sports. Plus, thanks to its compact design, you can easily take it with you on vacation, backpacking trips and hikes.

The minimum distance from the subject (MOD) at its wide-angle end is 0.15m and the maximum magnification ratio is 1:2, allowing you to capture impressive images that show off the strength and detail of your subject. In addition, it is equipped with a fast and highly accurate VXD linear focusing motor and TAMRON's original VC image stabilization mechanism, which promotes comfortable and stable shooting.
