NIKKOR Z CINEMA T1.9 VV

Nikon has just announced that it is developing the NIKKOR Z CINEMA T1.9 VV series of cinema lenses, designed for filmmaking, high-end productions, and creators seeking high-quality imaging solutions. The series will include nine lenses, including the NIKKOR Z CINEMA 50mm T1.9 VV.

The NIKKOR Z CINEMA T1.9 VV lens series will deliver the optical performance and practicality demanded by the cinematography industry, based on a new design concept that will enhance the cinematic expression of the entire NIKKOR Z CINEMA lens lineup. This lens series represents the first NIKKOR lenses to feature an image circle large enough not only for Nikon FX-format image sensors but also to cover the VV format of V-RAPTOR [X] camera image sensors. In addition, the lenses will offer a high-precision autofocus mechanism that will support creators’ workflows.
