On APS-C, 90mm delivers an approximately 135mm-equivalent view. It combines strong perspective compression, calm backgrounds and a portable body for portraits, details and distant scenes.

Natural subject separation
The F2.2 aperture and telephoto perspective help isolate the subject from its surroundings. Smooth bokeh and clean rendering suit portraits, street details and lower-light work.
Precision optics from centre to edge
The 10-element, 8-group optical design uses two ED and two HR elements. It controls colour fringing and preserves fine detail in demanding, high-contrast light.
Fast STM autofocus
An STM motor with lead screw delivers quick, accurate focus for stills and video. Internal focusing maintains balance and supports smooth subject tracking.
Compact build for everyday use
