The F2.8 aperture helps maintain faster shutter speeds and lower ISO in cafés, night streets and handheld video. Multi-layer coatings reduce flare and veiling glare.

Thirteen elements in eleven groups include 2 aspherical, 3 ED and 3 HR elements. The design controls distortion and chromatic aberration while retaining clean detail across the frame.

The short working distance combines an expressive foreground detail with a wide environment. A 0.15× maximum magnification adds creative options for food, objects and travel images.

Viltrox 9mm autofocus and construction

Fast AF, constant length

A quiet lead-screw STM motor supports eye and face detection. Internal focusing limits length changes and focus breathing, benefiting both stills and video.

A sealed body, metal mount, water-resistant front coating and USB-C firmware updates make it a practical companion. The bare lens weighs approximately 190g.
