The VariZoom VZ-M5 Kit (VZM5K) delivers a professional monitoring experience in a compact, portable package. The 5-inch VZM5 monitor provides crisp, accurate video representation with HDMI loop-through, DSLR scaling, auto aspect ratio detection, and advanced focus assist functions such as pixel-to-pixel zoom and peaking. Its LED backlight offers 500 cd/m² brightness, 800:1 contrast, and a 10ms response time for clear outdoor viewing.

Included in this kit are all accessories required for versatile field or studio use: a collapsible sunhood/screen protector, a high-capacity 47Wh Sony L series battery with up to 6 hours of runtime, compact charger, pre-mounted battery plate, HDMI cable locks to secure connections, swivel shoe mount, remote zoom button for focus assist, AC adapter, and two HDMI cables (standard-to-standard and standard-to-mini). The soft carrying case keeps all components protected and organized for transport.

The VZM5 monitor supports 1080p and 720p signals, 480i/p, 576i/p, and is HDCP compliant. Adjustable settings include brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, color temperature presets (D65/D93), safety area markers, centerline and 4:3 markers, underscan/overscan modes, monochrome mode, and image flip for inverted mounting. Audio monitoring is available via the 3.5mm headphone output, while dual ¼”-20 mounts on top and bottom provide flexible mounting options.
