The Tilta HDA-T08-SAA-HD Shock Absorbing Head is a direct replacement/upgrade damping head for the Hydra Alien Mini vehicle shock-absorbing arm. Engineered to further reduce road micro-vibrations, it supports payloads up to 22 lb (10 kg) and mounts any gimbal via the original quick-release plate (not included), delivering noticeably smoother footage when shooting from moving cars, ATVs or low-speed chase vehicles.

The Tilta HDA-T08-SAA-HD is a high-performance shock-absorbing head that replaces the stock unit to provide enhanced vibration isolation. Its internal spring-and-damper system is tuned to absorb high-frequency bumps and road noise that standard gimbals struggle to eliminate, resulting in cleaner horizons and reduced micro-jitter—even on rough surfaces. CNC-machined from aluminum alloy and finished in durable black, the head attaches directly to the end of the Hydra Alien Mini arm and retains full compatibility with the original quick-release baseplate (required for gimbal mounting).
