Tilta Micro Articulating Arm - Black

The Tilta Micro Articulating Arm is a compact articulating arm 131 mm (5.2") long for attaching small accessories — a monitor, a light or a phone — to the camera or cage. It has a male 1/4"-20 thread at both ends, two ball heads with an anti-slip surface and a centre joint, and a single knob locks all axes. It is made of aluminium alloy and stainless steel, weighs 92 g and carries up to 2.3 kg (5 lb).

Two ball heads, one knob

Both ends of the arm carry a ball head with a 1/4"-20 thread that rotates 360°, and the centre joint folds the arm 90° vertically — together they let you set the accessory at practically any angle. Locking all axes is done by a single knob in the middle: it is ergonomically shaped, presses evenly on both sides and secures the arm in one move, so nothing is adjusted piece by piece.

Anti-slip and 2.3 kg payload

The ball heads have an anti-slip surface at both ends which, when tightened, increases friction and locking strength — the accessory does not slide and the arm does not give. The payload is 2.3 kg (5 lb), which covers a camera monitor, a viewfinder or a smaller light. One side of the arm is slightly longer so the arm clears accessories already on the cage.

Compact and lightweight

The arm measures 131 × 29 × 38 mm and weighs 92 g; it is made of aluminium alloy and stainless steel in black. It fits in any bag and adds almost no weight to the camera cage — which is why it also suits small cameras, action cameras and phones in a cage.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
