The Tilta NP-FZ100 is a replacement battery for Sony cameras that take the original NP-FZ100 cell. Its size and shape match the original, so it drops into the battery compartment without play and without adapters. The difference is the USB-C input on the battery itself: it charges from an ordinary cable off a power bank, a laptop or a mains adapter, so there is no charger to pack. The input handles 5 V / 2 A (10 W) and a full charge takes roughly 2.5 hours.

Inside sits a decoding chip that passes battery data to the body.
