Tilta Accessory Mounting Bracket (Dual NATO) - Black

The Tilta TA-AMB6-B is an accessory bracket with a joint and a NATO clamp at both ends: the lower one drops onto the NATO rail of a cage or handle, the upper one grips the NATO rail on a monitor, transmitter or other accessory. Both clamps have a LOCK lever, so the whole assembly goes together and comes apart without tools. The joint pans 360° and tilts 175°, and the locking screw holds the position even with heavier accessories. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, black.

The Tilta TA-AMB6-B is the version of the Accessory Mounting Bracket with two NATO clamps — for a rig where the cage and the accessory both carry a NATO rail and everything has to come apart in one move.

NATO clamp on top and underneath

Both ends of the bracket are NATO clamps with a LOCK lever. The lower one drops from above onto the NATO rail of a cage, handle or arm; the upper one grips the NATO rail on the accessory the same way — say, on a monitor with a NATO plate or on a wireless video transmitter. Neither side is screwed: the monitor comes off the bracket, or the bracket off the cage, by folding the lever.

Joint: 360° pan, 175° tilt

The joint between the clamps pans 360° around the vertical axis and tilts 175°, so the monitor faces you from the side of the cage as well as from the top. Tighten the locking screw on the side of the joint for heavier accessories — the position then holds even with a transmitter or a monitor with a battery.

The Tilta NATO system

A NATO rail is a dovetail profile the clamp drops onto from above and locks with a lever — no screwing, repeatable, with a safety catch against sliding off. Tilta puts it on cages, handles and arms and backs it with adapters: clamps with a joint for a monitor, adapters from NATO to cold shoe, ARCA or 1/4"-20 thread, rod holders and rails that add the NATO interface where it is missing. This part is one of them.
