The Tilta MB-T12-M85 is an ultra-lightweight 4×5.65 carbon fiber clamp-on matte box that mounts directly to cinema lenses (85mm–114mm with included single backing), supports up to three 4×5.65 filters, includes an adjustable top French flag for flare control, and comes with a 15mm LWS rod adapter for rod-mounted use — all while weighing just 2.6 lb (1.18 kg) net.

The Tilta MB-T12-M85 combines a full carbon-fiber body with aluminum and stainless-steel internals to create one of the lightest 4×5.65 matte boxes on the market. It clamps directly onto standard cinema lens fronts via a single included backing ring, eliminating the need for donuts and keeping the setup clean and fast. The matte box accepts up to three 4×5.65 filter trays (two standard + one optional rotating), features a foldable carbon-fiber top flag with smooth tilt adjustment, and includes a removable 15mm LWS rod adapter for traditional rod-mounted configurations.
