Thypoch Simera-C 35mm T1.5 Full-Frame Cine Lens – Leica M

The Thypoch Simera-C 35mm T1.5 is a compact manual full-frame cine lens with a Leica M mount for natural perspective, dialogue, environmental portraits and work in confined spaces. It covers a 43.2mm image circle, weighs 381g and focuses from 0.45m, making it practical for handheld shooting, gimbals and lightweight cine rigs.

Its T1.5 aperture, 16-blade iris and 9-element, 5-group optical design support clean rendering, smooth defocus and low-light work. A 210° focus throw and 0.8 MOD gearing suit cine follow-focus systems, while suitable adapters extend the Leica M mount to E, RF, Z, L and X systems.

Aperture and image character

Nine elements in five groups, a 16-blade iris and T1.5 support smooth defocus transitions. Simera-C uses aspherical, low-dispersion and high-refractive-index elements for high resolution and chromatic-aberration control.

Manual control for cine rigs

Focus has a 210° throw and a 0.45 m minimum distance from the sensor plane. 0.8 MOD gears on both focus and iris rings work with standard follow-focus systems; dual scales speed up work for mixed crews.
