Product description

The Thypoch Simera-C 75 mm T1.5 for Sony E is a compact full-frame cine lens for portraits, details and telephoto framing. Its fully mechanical construction offers a 16-blade T1.5–T16 iris, 210° focus throw, 0.8 MOD gears and metric/imperial scales. It has no autofocus, electronic contacts or data transmission.

75MM T1.5 FOR SONY E

A compact longer focal length for portraits, details and selective compositions. The Sony E version covers a 43.2 mm image circle and weighs approximately 453 g at a length of 86.4 mm.

Portrait perspective with natural fall-off

The 75mm focal length and T1.5 aperture help separate a face or detail from the environment. A 16-blade iris supports calm defocus and a natural transition into out-of-focus areas.

Ready for a cine workflow

Focus throw is 210° and minimum focus is 0.55 m from the sensor plane. 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears plus metric and imperial scales simplify follow-focus operation and repeatable marks.

T1.5 for low-light work

The 9-element, 8-group optical design uses aspherical, low-dispersion and high-refractive-index elements. Anti-reflective coatings and internal blackening help preserve contrast in demanding backlight.
