Surely you've been in a situation where you needed to make a decision to buy this or that product, but you didn't have enough information. That's why we have prepared for you comparison recordings of microphones and other products we offer. In addition, in the description of the tested audio products you will now be able to listen to, or download, an unedited recording that was recorded using the device.

A small exception is perhaps theAzden EX-503i- it's basically a lapel microphone, but it's designed primarily for mobile devices like tablets and smartphones.It is for this reason that among the audio samples you will also find a recording recorded on a regular iPhone 4S using theAzden EX-503i lapel microphone and, for comparison, a recording without (on a "clean" iPhone).

Most of the lapel mics listed are standard set mics that can also be purchased separately. When testing these "knockers" we had them plugged into relevant wireless sets, and their names are listed next to the individual clips.Alsoincluded with the audio recordings is a demonstration of a "madonna" from manufacturerPoint-Source Audio, labeledCO-3. In this test it did not make sense to make multiple recordings at different distances, so below you will find only comparison recordings from individual lapel microphones connected to wireless microphones (Azden,Sony andSennheiser).
