The SWIT S-4610 is a compact and rugged SDI audio embedder that integrates both digital and analog audio into SDI signals, providing reliable 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs for professional field production and broadcast applications.

The Swit S-4610 Rugged SDI Audio Embedder is a versatile mini SDI audio embedder that seamlessly integrates audio into your SDI workflow. It supports both 2-channel AES/EBU digital audio and balanced analog audio inputs, embedding audio into any two of the first eight SDI positions. Compatible with 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals, this compact device features two integrated SDI outputs, three LED indicators for power, SDI input detection, and output status, and a durable aluminum chassis built for the rigors of field production.

The unit can be mounted directly to cameras using the 1/4"-20 screw threads or installed on walls using the included mounting plate. It operates on a 6–18 VDC pole-tap power input and consumes up to 3 W. Its video compatibility spans 1080p/i, 720p, and SD formats, while audio support covers digital AES/EBU at 48 kHz and analog signals up to +24 dBu with a 20 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth. Operating reliably in temperatures from 0–50°C and humidity levels from 10–90%, the S-4610 is perfect for on-site broadcast and professional AV workflows.
