The SWIT S-4605 SDI to Optical Converter is a portable and reliable solution for transmitting broadcast-quality SDI signals over long distances using single-mode optical fiber. Designed for professional broadcast, live production, and AV installations, the S-4605 converts 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals into optical fiber output via an LC connector, enabling stable transmission up to 20 kilometers without signal degradation.

The unit features one SDI input, one SDI loop output, and one optical fiber output, allowing seamless signal monitoring or daisy-chaining while transmitting over fiber. It supports hot-swap optical modules, making maintenance and system upgrades quick and convenient in demanding environments.
