Turn the detents on for stills and off for video, so no click reaches the soundtrack. Beside it sit a programmable focus hold button and the focus mode switch.

A balanced rig on a gimbal

Small dimensions and 373 g keep the centre of gravity close to the body, so a gimbal or add-on grip balances without a fight. On a wide angle used for video, that is half the work.

It focuses 19 centimetres from the lens

A minimum focus distance of 0.19 m at 0.2× magnification lets you get closer than a wide angle usually allows — and the background still falls away.

The lens design includes two AA (advanced aspherical) aspherical elements, three Extra-low Dispersion (Extra-low Dispersion) glass ED elements for effective chromatic aberration suppression, which ensure high image quality across the entire image area right to the edges, even at the maximum aperture setting of F1.8. The lens performs exceptionally well in close-up photography with a minimum focusing distance of f 0.19 metres (max. magnification: 0.2 times) and delivers beautiful bokeh.
