Skaarhoj ETH-GPI Link

ETH-GPI Link converts GPIO contacts to Ethernet and back. It offers 8 isolated GPI inputs and 8 GPO outputs on a DB25 connector for tally, routing and switching in control rooms and OB vans, with PoE power and web-based setup.

SKAARHOJ ETH-GPI Link is a networked GPIO bridge and distribution interface for control rooms, OB vans and studios. Eight inputs and eight outputs, all fully isolated, connect tally lamps, switchers, routers, recorders and converters without a network interface to IP-based systems. The unit also works as a GPIO extension or as a link between two distant locations over a standard LAN.

Legacy gear in an IP world

ETH-GPI Link converts analogue GPI signals to and from Ethernet. SKAARHOJ control panels can then talk bi-directionally even to devices that have no network interface at all.

16 contacts on one connector

The standard version has a single DB25 connector with 8 inputs and 8 outputs, all galvanically isolated. If you need more, the Dual version doubles the channel count.

Tally, routing and switching

Route signals from Panasonic AW-RP controllers to Blackmagic ATEM switchers or manage inputs and outputs on VideoHub routers. It just as easily links two devices in different locations.
