The Sennheiser EW-DP ME4 SET is a fully digital UHF wireless lavalier system for filmmakers, content creators and broadcasters. Its distinguishing feature is the microphone: the ME 4 is a cardioid lavalier, not an omnidirectional one, so it concentrates on the person wearing it and rejects what is happening around them. That is what makes it the right choice in a busy street, a crowded room or anywhere the background would otherwise sit on top of the dialogue. The compact EW-DP EK receiver pairs over Bluetooth and is set up from the Smart Assist app, with an OLED display for menu navigation and Smart Notifications that flag problems while they can still be fixed. Components stack magnetically onto a camera rig, battery life runs to 12 hours on the transmitter and 7 on the receiver, and battery management reports the remaining time in hours and minutes rather than as a vague bar.
Digital wireless lavalier set · R4-9 552–607,8 MHz
The ME 4 concentrates on the person wearing it and rejects the rest. Where an omnidirectional lavalier would bring the whole street into the dialogue, this one keeps the speaker in front of it.
The receiver and its mounting plate attach magnetically and stack, so the system goes onto a cage, a cold shoe or a belt without an adapter hunt. The complete mounting kit is in the box — cheese plate, screws and the tool — so the first setup does not stall on a missing part.
The set ships with the locking CL 35 XLR cable for a professional camera and the CL 35 TRS cable for a mirrorless body, plus a USB-C cable for charging. Both are coiled, so no slack hangs off the rig, and both lock, so nothing works loose during a take.
