The EW-DX MKE 2 set is two bodypack transmitters and a two-channel receiver with MKE 2 lavalier microphones. An omnidirectional capsule forgives a speaker turning their head, and the MKE 2 is built to shrug off sweat — which is why theatres and broadcasters use it.

What the EW-DX range shares

Digital transmission at 24 bits, 1.9 ms latency and 134 dB of input dynamic range — which is why there is no sensitivity to set on the transmitter. The band is up to 88 MHz wide, the link is encrypted with AES-256, and a BA 70 battery lasts twelve hours, AA cells eight.
